Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale à l’usure importante, mais bien venu à la frappe. Usure importante, mais lisible et identifiable. Droit légèrement brouillé. Joli revers de frappe un peu molle. Belle patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

Reverse translation : “Cæsar”, (César).
Commentary
Frappé en Espagne, pour un atelier itinérant accompagnant Jules César pendant la guerre d’Espagne contre les fils de Pompée qui se termine par la bataille de Munda en 45 avant J.-C., la défaite du parti pompéien et la mort du fils aîné de Pompée. Pour ce type, M. Crawford a relevé une estimation inférieure à trente coins pour le droit et inférieure à trente-trois coins pour le revers.
