(1112-1148)

Alphonse Jourdain succeeded Bertrand as Count of Toulouse. He was also Count of Saint-Gilles. Alphonse Jourdain, who was the son of Raymond IV of Saint-Gilles, wanted to reconquer the county of Tripoli from Guillaume II (1137-1152) his nephew, grandson of Bertrand, half-brother of Alphonse, but he died in 1148 in Caesarea of Lebanon during the second Crusade (1147-1149). Raymond V succeeded him (1148-1194).
