Ce denier est frappé sur un flan irrégulier et assez large. Exemplaire présentant de petites concrétions et sur lequel la croix du revers apparaît en négatif au droit

Commentary

Monnaie assez rare manquant à bon nombre de collections. Absente du Poey d’Avant, un premier exemplaire a été publié par G. Amardel dans la Revue Numismatique de 1917-1918. Un second exemplaire est illustré dans l’ouvrage d’Ali Benabiba et Jean-Marie Diaz sur les monnaies du Languedoc et du Roussillon. Cet exemplaire est légèrement différent, en raison de la présence d’un petit besant dans le 2e canton de la croix du droit.
