Quart sur un flan court avec un avers très mou et décentré mais un beau revers bien net. Patine orangée, un peu plus brune par endroits

Commentary

Ce quart de statère est du même type que celui de MONNAIES 28, n° 581 provenant d’une vente Künker (Allemagne).
L’attribution de cette série est fluctuante entre les Bituriges et les Lémovices.
Alors que la plupart des exemplaires sont unifaces, celui-ci présente la base du cou d’une tête à gauche !

Cette série de quart de statère semble complètement inédite aux ouvrages de référence et manque à tous les catalogues de musées.
