Exemplaire sur un flan bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Belle tête de la Liberté. Jolie représentation du revers d’un monument romain historiquement important. Jolie patine grise superficielle avec des reflets dorés

Pour ce type, M. Crawford a relevé une estimation de trente-neuf coins de droit et de quarante-trois coins de revers. Ce type semble beaucoup plus rare que ne le laissent supposer les ouvrages généraux. C’est la première fois que nous le proposons à la vente.
