Obverse description : Buste drapé de Lucille à droite avec un petit chignon ramené derrière la tête (L).

Obverse translation : “Lucillæ Augustæ Antonini Augusti Filia”, (À Lucille augusta fille d'Antonin auguste).

Reverse legend : VES-TA.

Reverse description : Vesta voilée et drapée debout à gauche, tenant le simpulum de la main droite et le palladium de la main gauche, sacrifiant au-dessus d’un autel allumé.

Reverse translation : “Vesta”, (Vesta).

Commentary

Coiffure élaborée avec des tresses tirées en arrière et terminée par un petit chignon. Ce denier appartient à la première phase du monnayage et a été frappé en début du règne de Marc Aurèle avant le mariage de Lucille avec Lucius Vérus.
