Commentary

Curieusement, pour une frappe officielle de 5000 exemplaires en 1963, ce module de 40 francs apparaît fort rarement en vente. Il est plus que probable qu’une vente très incomplète fut suivie de refontes massives. À noter que dans l’ouvrage de référence, cette émission est supposée être marquée”ESSAI”, ce qui n’est pas le cas sur la nôtre.
