LYONNAIS - ARCHBISHOPRIC OF LYON - ANONYMOUS

(13th-14th centuries)

Several archbishops succeeded each other at the episcopal seat of Lyon between 1270 and 1320, including Adhémar de Roussillon (1274-1282) and Pierre III de Savoie (1308-1320). Philippe IV le Bel came into possession of Lyon in 1312. He respected the coinage right of the archbishops.
