Exemplaire sur un flan parfaitement centré des deux côtés avec le grènetis complet au droit. Joli carré creux au revers. Patine gris foncé avec des reflets dorés

Malgré la rareté du type, nous n’avons pas relevé d’identité de coin pertinente. Ce type semble néanmoins plus rare que ne le laissent supposer les ouvrages généraux. C’est la deuxième fois que nous le proposons à la vente.

The city of Terone was part of the Chalcidic colonies which provided material to Xerxes during the Second Persian War. The city was part of the Athenian thalassocracy before being captured by Brasidas and being taken over by Cleon the following year.
