Lucius Marcius Philippus is monetary triumvir in 56 BC while his father, who bears the same name as him, is consul. He was then tribune of the plebs in 49 BC, praetor in 44 BC and was consul suffect in 38 BC Quintus Marcius Rex, who had the aqueduct that carried his name, is Caesar's great-uncle.
