Exemplaire de qualité exceptionnelle pour ce type, sur un flan très légèrement décentré et éclaté à 9h. Superbe portrait, bien détaillé, légèrement griffé sur le cou. Très beau revers malgré un petit tréflage au niveau de la tête de l’aigle. Belle patine verte

Marc Aurèle, campaigning against the Yazygues, falls ill and dies on March 17, 180 in Sirmium or Vienna, perhaps from the plague which begins to ravage the Empire again. The author of the Pensées is deified by his son Commodus.
