Le jeton ne porte pas de poinçon et est probablement une fabrication interne, destinée à montrer la qualité des placages. Malheureusement, celle-ci est médiocre et compte tenu du capital, énorme pour l’époque, on peut avoir quelques doutes sur les intentions réelles des fondateurs.

MINES AND FORGES
The numismatics of the mines was the subject of a study by Jules Florange in 1904. The latter listed the numismatic material relating to the mines: medals, tokens of attendance, tokens of necessity or fiduciary coins, tokens of the superintendents of the mines. Another remarkable work is the work of the Association of Coin Collectors in 1999.
