Au total, 85.000 pièces d'or ont été frappées en 1891, 1895, 1896, 1901 et 1904. Fabriquées pour les besoins du casino et du tourisme, elles ont souvent été gardées en souvenir. Ce millésime est le plus difficile à trouver de cette série.

(09/10/1899-06/26/1922)

Albert (13/11/1848-26/06/1922) is the son of Charles III. He created the Oceanographic Institute of Paris in 1906, then the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco in 1910. He led numerous maritime expeditions from 1869 to his death. He gave the Principality its first Constitution in 1911 and signed a treaty with France in 1918 confirming the customs union and recognizing the independence of Monaco..
