Exemplaire sur un flan épais, fortement décentré au droit sur la tête d’Apollon à l’usure importante. Très joli revers. Sans patine

Reverse description : Corne d’abondance (cornucopiae) entourée des bonnets des Dioscures surmontés d’une étoile ; monogramme dans le champ inférieur gauche.
Reverse legend : ADRA-MU/THNWN/ (CIRW).
Reverse translation : (Adramytium).

MYSIA - ADRAMYTTIUM

(4th - 1st century BC)

Adramytium is said to have been founded by Adramys, the brother of Croesus, king of Lydia. The city was located in the gulf of the same name on the coast northwest of Pergamon.
