Exemplaire sur un flan bien centré des deux côtés. Belle tête expressive de Néron au droit. Jolie représentation du temple de Janus au revers avec la porte à droite. Très belle patine vert épaisse

Nero then goes to Greece where he performs on stage and proclaims "The freedom of Greece". The excesses of the emperor cause at the beginning of the year 68 a wave of discontent which culminates with the revolt of Vindex in Gaule, Galba and Otho in Spain. Nero is declared a public enemy by the Senate. He committed suicide on June 9 so as not to fall alive into the hands of his enemies..
