Exemplaire sur un flan ovale et irrégulier bien centré des deux côtés. Belle tête taillée à la serpe. Bien centré au revers, légèrement stylisé. Patine de collection ancienne

Reverse description : Cavalier péonien galopant à droite, terrassant un hoplite macédonien au sol.

Reverse translation : (de Patraos).

Commentary

Au droit, Apollon porte la taenia au lieu de la couronne et la tête semble ornée d’une moustache. Frappé avec un coin bouché au revers. Même coin que l’exemplaire de la collection Mc Lean du Fitzwilliam Museum Cambridge, n° 3696, pl. 137, n° 15.
