Reverse description : Croix ancrée, les bras munis d’un pendant à leur extrémité cantonnée de quatre besants, le tout dans un grènetis portant trois gros annelets et une croix à 12 heures.

Commentary

Denier coupé en deux afin de circuler pour la valeur d’une obole. Cette obole a été obtenue en découpant un denier de Paris, vraisemblablement au burin, en ayant soin que la découpe soit exactement sur le bras verticale de la croix ancrée du revers. Le poids de 0,58 grammes correspond à un denier de 1,16 gramme ce qui coïncide avec le poids habituellement observé pour les deniers de ce type.
