Bel exemplaire sur un flan large, avec un défaut à 11 heure. La pièce est couverte d’une jolie patine grise

Commentary

Cette monnaie provient de l’épave du navire Meresteijn, qui appartenait à la compagnie hollandaise des Indes et qui a fait naufrage au large de l’Afrique du Sud en 1702. L’épave a été localisée et explorée. Un certificat signé des découvreurs ainsi qu’une photographie de l’exemplaire accompagnent la monnaie..
