José Hipólito Unanue y Pavón (1755-1833) est un médecin, naturaliste, professeur et politicien péruvien. Il fut l’un des signataires de la déclaration d’indépendance. Plusieurs fois ministre, président de la Junte et député, il est considéré comme l’un des pères de la nation.
