Exemplaire sur un petit flan épais, irrégulier, légèrement échancré à 12 heures, parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait de Plautille empreint de réalisme. Revers de haut relief. Très belle patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets mordorés. A conservé son coupant d’origine

Augusta
Plautille is the daughter of Plautien, prefect of the Praetorium, friend and confidant of Septimius Severus. Caracalla married the daughter of the Prefect of the Praetorium in 202 at the request of her father. Caracalla doesn't get along with his wife. Plautian is eliminated by Septimius Severus in 205 and Plautille relegated to the Lipari Islands where she is finally assassinated in 212.
