Exemplaire sur un petit flan, légèrement bombé, parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait. Frappe un peu faible au revers. Très jolie patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

Plautille is the daughter of Plautien, prefect of the Praetorium, friend and confidant of Septimius Severus. Caracalla married the daughter of the Prefect of the Praetorium in 202 at the request of her father. Caracalla doesn't get along with his wife. Plautian is eliminated by Septimius Severus in 205 and Plautille relegated to the Lipari Islands where she is finally assassinated in 212.
