Depuis 2005, la Banque Nationale de Pologne fait frapper à l’atelier de Varsovie des monnaies commémoratives de 2 Zlote sur le thème des villes historiques de Pologne.
Sur chaque monnaie, l’avers est illustré par un aigle surmontant un rempart avec une porte ouverte. Le revers est illustré par un monument de chaque ville concernée..
