Exemplaire sur flan mince et ovale bien centré des deux côtés. Beau portrait de Pupien. Revers bien venu à la frappe et de style très fin. Patine verte

Pupien is proclaimed emperor at the same time as Balbin. After Maximin's death, he returned to Rome. A certain discord settles between the two co-emperors. According to the new chronology set up by A. Chastagnol and M. Christol, they are finally both assassinated by the Praetorians between the end of April and the beginning of May.
