Commentary


Cette pièce fut créée suite à la loi du 15/27 février 1878. La fabrication eut lieu en décembre 1882. Les pièces furent démonétisées par la loi du 3 octobre 1929.

(1868-1889)

King of Serbia

Milan IV (22/08/1854-11/02/1901) succeeds his cousin Milan III (1839/42-1860/8). Defeated by the Turks, he proclaimed himself king of the Serbs (1882), a title which was recognized by the Congress of Berlin, despite his defeat against the Bulgarians. Forced to abdicate in 1889, he died in exile.
