We have no information about this unknown king who remained on the Arsacid throne for ten years, and who was previously identified with Gotarzes I. Today, modern authors attribute this coinage to Artaban II or Arsaces XVI, son of Mithridates who would have remained between 78/77 and 62/61 BC..
