Commentary

Cette médaille de troisième classe est décernée à Madame Louise Besnard, née Louise Vaillant (1816-1877), pendant le salon de 1859. Elle fut élève de Madame Aimée-Zoé de Mibel, et exposa au Salon de 1845 à 1867. Elle obtint une médaille de troisième classe au salon de 1847 ainsi qu’à celui de 1859 - la présente médaille.
