Jolie patine grise hétérogène, présentant les traces d’un ancien nettoyage. Présence de quelques fines rayures. Légère usure. Des coups sont visibles sur la tranche. La médaille est conservée dans une boîte en buis

Obverse description : Faisceau de licteur duquel sort une main de justice, entouré de deux cornes d’abondance ; à l’exergue MDCCCXLVIII, le tout dans une couronne de chêne.

Médaille attribuée en 1848 à Théophile Dufour (1800-1866), député Républicain modéré pour le département de l’Aisne du 23 avril 1848 au 26 mai 1849 à l’Assemblée nationale constituante.
