Coments on the condition:
Exemplaire sur un flan ovale, parfaitement centré au droit avec le grènetis visible, un peu court sur la légende de revers. Portrait de toute beauté de qualité exceptionnelle. Très joli revers avec une petite faiblesse de frappe sur la légende où tous les détails de la draperie de la Fortune sont visibles. Magnifique patine vert olive clair

Reverse translation : “Fortunæ Reduci Pontifex Maximus Tribunicia Potestate undevicesimum Consul tertium Pater Patriæ”, (À la Fortune qui fait revenir, grand pontife détenteur de la puissance tribunitienne pour la dix-neuvième fois, consul trois fois, père de la patrie).

SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS

Septimius Severus was born in 146 in Leptis Magna in Africa (Libya). After a brilliant military career under the reigns of Marc Aurèle and Commodus, he was consul suffect in 185. At the time of Pertinax's death, he was governor of Upper Pannonia.
