Exemplaire sur un flan ovale, parfaitement centré au droit avec le grènetis visible, un peu court sur la légende de revers. Portrait de toute beauté de qualité exceptionnelle. Très joli revers avec une petite faiblesse de frappe sur la légende où tous les détails de la draperie de la Fortune sont visibles. Magnifique patine vert olive clair

Septimius Severus was born in 146 in Leptis Magna in Africa (Libya). After a brilliant military career under the reigns of Marc Aurèle and Commodus, he was consul suffect in 185.
