Commentary

Ce quart de statère relativement lourd laisse présager un type ancien, proche des prototypes grecs. Vraisemblablement originaire de l’Est ou du Centre de la France.
Avec l’association avers et revers à droite, et ce type de grosse tête, cette monnaie semble correspondrait au n° 31 (cf. 16-31) de la Revue Suisse n° 53.
