Commentary

Olivier de Serres (1539 - 2 juillet 1619) est un autodidacte français qui fut l’un des premiers à étudier de manière scientifiqueles techniques agricoles et à en rechercher l’amélioration de manière expérimentale. De ce point de vue, on peut le considérer comme le père de l’agronomie.
