Très beau portrait tout à fait inhabituel avec une jolie patine vert foncé. Flan un peu court sur les légendes. Joli revers

Obverse description : Buste radié, drapé et cuirassé de Tétricus II à gauche, vu de trois quarts en avant (A1).
Obverse translation : "Caius Pius Esuvius Tetricus Cæsar", (Caius Pius Esuvius Tétricus césar).
Reverse
Reverse legend : SP-ES - AVGG.
Reverse description : Spes (l'Espérance) marchant à gauche, relevant sa robe avec sa main gauche et tenant une fleur de la main droite.
Reverse translation : “Spes Augustorum”, (L'Espérance des augustes).
Commentary
Poids léger. Sans argenture. Semble de même coin de droit que l’exemplaire reproduit dans l’ouvrage de Schulzki (pl. 29, n° 9c).

Caesar
If Tétricus I became august on Victorin's death, Tétricus II did not become Caesar until around 273. The following year, Aurélien put an end to the Gallic Empire after the battle of Châlons-sur-Marne and seized the people of Tétricus and his son. They participate in the triumph of Aurelian in Rome at the end of 274. After which, they both survive and continue a senatorial career.
