César Cotereau est maire en 1628 et 1629. Il porte d’argent, à trois lézards grimpants de sinople, au lambel de trois pendants de gueules.

TOURAINE - GENTRY AND TOWNS
Region of the Turones Celts, Touraine has as main city Turones or Caesarodunum (Tours) under the Romans, of which it is the capital of Lyonnaise IIIe. After the Battle of Vouillé in 507, it passed to the Franks. It became county in the 10th century and the stake of a rivalry between the houses of Anjou and Blois.
