Joli sesterce sur flan bien centré, légèrement éclaté à six heures, présentant une usure régulière et des faiblesses sur certaines parties des légende. Trajan est bien reconnaissable au droit. Patine marron

Reverse description : Trajan assis à gauche sur une chaise curule sur une estrade, vêtu militairement, accompagné par un soldat (préfet du prétoire), plaçant une couronne sur la tête du roi Parthamaspates qui se tient devant l’estrade face à la Parthie, agenouillée, tendant la main.

Trajan was born on September 18, 53 in Italica, near Seville in Spain, like his pupil Hadrian. He belongs to a family of settlers settled in Spain. After a brilliant military career under the Flavians, he was consul in 91 and legate of Germania Superior when he was adopted by Nerva in 97 to succeed him.
