Très beau portrait de frappe vigoureuse, presque complet. Flan rectangulaire et un peu court, surtout au revers. Patine hétérogène, avec des concrétions de vert de gris

Avec ce poids de plus de trois grammes, cette monnaie est plutôt une drachme lourde. Le style, particulièrement du droit, correspond à celui des n° 29 et 30 de MONNAIES XV.

The Celto-Ligurians, with coins in the Lepontic alphabet, settled in the 6th or 5th century BC in Transpadane, which would later become Cisalpine Gaul. From the end of the 4th century BC, they were in contact with Rome.
