Monnaie n’ayant jamais circulé mais, zinc oblige, avec des zones mates alternant avec des zones brillantes. Quelques discrètes taches blanches d’oxydation du zinc

TUNISIA - FRENCH PROTECTORATE
(1881-1956)
The French protectorate of Tunisia was established by the Treaty of Bardo of May 12, 1881. The political, economic and social structures of the country were transformed and the monetary system was modeled on that of France with the adoption of identical modules. The protectorate was finally abolished on March 20, 1956 after negotiations constituting the culmination of the Tunisian national movement..
