(1593-1611)

Erric is the son of Nicolas de Lorraine-Vaudémont and becomes bishop of Verdun in 1593 when he was only 17 years old. His episcopate ended in 1611, when he resigned in favor of his nephew Charles de Lorraine-Chaligny.
