Exemplaire sur flan ovale bien centré des deux côtés. Très belle tête de Vespasien divinisée. Revers de style fin servi par une jolie patine de médaillier avec reflets mordorés et bleutés irisés

Obverse description : Tête laurée de Vespasien à droite (O*).
Obverse translation : “Divus Augustus Vespasianus” (Divin Vespasien auguste).

Reverse description : Légende sur un bouclier que soutiennent deux capricornes ; en-dessous, un globe.

Commentary


Rubans de type 2. Pour D. Sear, les émissions posthumes de Vespasien sont datées de 80 plutôt que de 79. Sur cet exemplaire, au revers, le SC sur le bouclier est visible.
