Exemplaire sur un flan très large, parfaitement centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis complets à l’usure importante, mais parfaitement lisible et identifiable. Beau portrait. Usure plus prononcée au revers. Patine grise de collection ancienne

Obverse description : Tête laurée de Vespasien à droite (O*).
Obverse translation : “Divus Augustus Vespasianus”, (le Divin Vespasien Auguste).

Reverse description : Légende sur un bouclier que soutiennent deux capricornes ; au-dessous, un globe.
Reverse translation : "Senatus Consulto", (Par Décret du Sénat).

Commentary


Rubans de type 2. Pour D. Sear, les émissions posthumes de Vespasien sont datées de 80, plutôt que de 79. Sur cet exemplaire, au revers le SC sur le bouclier n’est pas bien visible.
