Exemplaire sur un flan large et irrégulier bien centré des deux côtés. Beau portrait de Vétranion. Joli revers de style fin. Patine gris métallique avec des reflets dorés

Reverse description : L'empereur debout à gauche, vêtu militairement, surmonté d'une étoile, tenant dans chaque main un labarum chrismé.

Reverse translation : “Concordia Militum”, (La Concorde des soldats).

Commentary

Poids lourd. Série lourde. Rubans de type 3 aux extrémités bouletées. Le fait que Vétranion soit lauré, alors que Constance II est diadémé, semblerait confirmer une subordination du premier au second. Après le 25 décembre 350 et son abdication, Vétranion rentra dans la vie privée.
