Exemplaire sur un flan irrégulier bien centré. Beau buste de Vétranion. Frappe un peu faible au revers. Jolie patine verte

Poids léger. Rubans de type 3 aux extrémités bouletées. Ptéryges invisibles sous le paludamentum. Exemplaire particulier de style fin.

Commander in Illyria, Vetranion, is immediately proclaimed after the death of Constans. Constantia, Constance's sister and Hanniballien's widow, convinces him to accept the purple. Magnentius tries to negotiate with Vétranion who finally rallies to Constantius II. He abdicated before the Emperor on December 25, 350 and retired to Prusa in Bithynia, where he died in 356.
