Reverse description : Hercule nu debout à gauche, appuyé sur sa massue de la main droite et la léonté enroulé autour de son bras gauche.
Reverse translation : “Caius Vibius Varus”, (Caius Vibius Varus).

Commentary


Pour ce type, M. Crawford a relevé une estimation de trente coins de droit et de trente-trois coins de revers. Ce type est en fait beaucoup plus rare que ne le laissent supposer les ouvrages généraux.
