Exemplaire sur un petit flan, légèrement décentré au revers avec les grènetis visibles. Belle tête de Bacchus. Usure régulière au revers. Jolie patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

Commentary


Graffiti devant le nez et plusieurs petites contremarques sur le visage. Pour ce type, M. Crawford a relevé une estimation de 54 coins de droit et de 60 coins de revers. Ce denier semble plus rare que ne le laissent supposer les ouvrages généraux.

The Gens Vibia were a plebeian family of Rome who held high office during the late Republic and Empire. The moneyer, Caius Vibius Pansa was governor of Bithynia in 47-46 BC, then governor in Gaul.
