Ce type d’obole, attribué à l’Allemagne du Sud, figure de façon erronée dans le Nouvel Atlas tome III, sous la série de fractions en argent des peuples de l'ouest.

The Vindelicians were considered to be a people of Celtic origin. They possibly controlled the headwaters of the Rhine and the region of Lake Constance and the Inn valley. Their neighbors were the Helvetii and the Boii. Their main oppidum was Brigantion (Bregenz). They were submitted only by Tiberius during the campaign of 15 BC. Strabo (IV. 3, 6; VII, 1, 5); Pliny (HN. III, 133); Tacitus (An. II, 17); Ptolemy (G. II, 12). Kruta: 69.
