Reverse description : Concordia (la Concorde) assise à gauche, tenant une patère de la main droite, et appuyant le coude gauche sur une corne d’abondance, posée sur une base.
Reverse translation : “Tribunitia Potestate Consul iterum// Concordia”, (Revêtu de la Puissance Tribunitienne Consul pour la deuxième fois// La Concorde).

Commentary


Tyoe inhabituel. Sur cet exemplaire, nous semblons voir une petite statuette sous le siège aux pieds de la Concorde.

Aélius receives the title of Caesar at the very end of 136. Consul in 137, he becomes Lucius Ælius Verus and is sent as governor to Pannonia in 137. Sick, he returns to Rome and dies on January 1, 138.
