(185-149 BC)

Prusias II is the son of Prusias I (228-185 BC), king of Bithynia and the grandson of Philip V of Macedonia by his mother. Hannibal had taken refuge in Nicomedia with his father. For fear of being delivered to the Romans by Prusias II, the Carthaginian poisoned himself in 183 BC. ). Prusias II had to give up part of his territory to the King of Pergamon.
