Exemplaire sur un flan bombé, parfaitement centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis complets. Très belle tête d’Apollon à l’usure superficielle. Joli revers. Patine de médaillier avec des reflets mordorés et bleutés acier

Poids léger. Pour ce type, M. Crawford a relevé une estimation de 144 coins de droit et de 175 coins de revers. Ce type est en fait plus rare que ne semblent le montrer les ouvrages généraux..

The Calpurnia gens is of plebeian origin. Caius Calpurnius Piso married Cicero's daughter in 63, the year of the great orator's consulship. He became praetor in 58 BC. Caius Calpurnius Piso became consul in 67 BC jointly with Marcus Acilio Glabrio.
