Ce denier est frappé sur un flan large, irrégulier et légèrement voilé. Monnaie recouverte d’une patine grise de médaillier

Commentary
L’une des premières monnaies féodales tourangelles et chinonaises avec un portrait particulièrement bien venu à la frappe. Légende fautée avec CASTAO au lieu de CASTRO. Portrait très rare et bien gravé pour ce type monétaire.
