Monnaie frappée sur un flan ovale et bombé au droit, ce qui explique l'usure. Revers de frappe molle, mais avec le cheval qui se devine nettement. Trois rayures de surface suivent l'encolure du cheval, sinon patine grise

Obverse description : Tête fortement stylisée de Zeus à droite, l’œil globuleux, le nez pointu, les cheveux tirés en arrière, la barbe longue et arrondie.

Reverse description : Cavalier stylisé au pas à gauche ; un objet entre les jambes en forme de huit ; un rinceau partant de la bouche du cheval.

Commentary


Bien que frappé sur un flan un peu court et ovale, on distingue nettement la ligne chevronnée derrière la nuque et la ligne perlée devant le visage, au droit.
