Exemplaire sur un petit flan irrégulier, bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Portrait bien venu à la frappe. Joli revers de style fin. Patine grise superficielle avec des reflets dorés

Reverse description : Salus (la Santé) drapée, assise à gauche, tenant une patère de la main droite, nourrissant un serpent enroulé autour d’un autel, le bras gauche appuyé sur son siège.

D’après le classement de W. Szaivert, ce type de denier serait frappé à partir de 165 et jusqu’à la mort de l’impératrice.

Augusta
Young Faustina, the daughter of Antoninus and Faustina Mother, was born between 128 and 132. She married Marc Aurèle in 145 and received the title of augusta in 146. She had thirteen children, seven of whom survived childhood. A very important coinage is struck until his death in 175 in Halala at the foot of Mount Taurus in Cappadocia.
